CHANTAL ZETTEL,
Chantal Zettel is a Fine Artist that specializes in Mixed-Media. She is currently operating out of her private studio in her hometown of Kitchener, Ontario. Chantal likes to explore different avenues and is inspired by different feminist concepts and feminine actions.
Throughout her life, Chantal has always been interested in expressing herself through her art and by working through the creative process. It was after her first public recognition for her work, the Arts Award at her Elementary School graduation, that Chantal decided to pursue a professional career as an Artist. After she graduated high school, she went on to study Fine Art at Fanshawe College for three years. There, she received an Advanced Diploma and had the privilege to sell one of her paintings to the College. The piece remains a part of their permanent collection. She then transferred to NSCAD (Nova Scotia College of Art and Design) where she obtained her Bachelors of Fine Art in 2011.
At the beginning of last year she conquered her goal of being a full time Artist. Since then she has been in her studio producing several new series, selling commission work, as well as exposing her work professionally wherever she can. Being an emerging Artist, her goal is to submerse herself in Art, as well as trying to make a colourful splash throughout the community, all while working to create a dialogue between artists and the public.
